We blessing Nate last Sunday, January 6, 2008. (a blessing in our church is kind of like a christening) He was such a good boy during it. We had a few friends and Charlie and his dad in the blessing circle. Here are a few pictures that we took. I need to put him back in the outfit because I didn't get a good one of just him.
This year for Christmas, Mom Rice wanted us to dress up and take a picture of the Nativity scene. I was Mary, Charlie was Joseph, Nate was Jesus, Shoady was the angel, Juan was a shepherd and Rodger was one of the kings. Kinda cheesy but it turned out really nice.
This week Nate is finally over his cold. He still gets a little snot in his nose, but we just suck that right out, which he hates. He is sleeping okay, only 2-3 hours at a time at night, but that is a HUGE improvement from when he was sick. He is right at 8 pounds now, he is an 8 week old new born. (ha ha) He has started smiling and laughing more. He is such a cute baby. We are so blessed to have him in our lives.
Also this week, my friend Nikki and I started to walk in the morning. She has 2 kids and lives about 4 houses down the street from me. We walk this loop that takes about 30 minutes. We aren't good about going every day yet, but hopefully we'll get there. Sometimes kids make it hard.
