I can't believe Nate is already a month old! Boy does time fly. We went for his check up today and he is 20 1/2 inches long, that is 2 inches in one month! He also now weighs 7 lbs. 3/4 ounces. So that is almost 2 pounds in one month! The doctor says he is doing great. The doctor also thinks that he has acid reflux, so she gave us some medicine to see if that will help his tummy feel better. Hopefully it works.
Lately we have been doing really well with sleeping at night. (knock on wood) He gets up every 2 1/2 to 3 hours and eats, then goes back to sleep till about 7:00 in the morning. If you lay him on your chest, he'll sleep longer with you.
We are very excited to go to Missouri for a week, we leave tomorrow. We are flying and are praying that Nate does well on the plane, it is a 2 1/2 hour flight, but no lay overs! Wish us luck. Sound like being a mom is getting better with that little guy. You are right it is weird to think that you have been married for 5 years. Man that is a long time. I am in no hurry though. Enjoy Missouri and all that family and Grandma and Gpa.

Way to go Nate...you'll pass Jacob in no time with the weight gain if you keep going at that rate :)
